Located in Alta Mogiana, the sacred land of Brazilian coffee, producing high-quality specialty coffee since 1986 at Fazenda Ipoméia, utilizing its altitude, rich soil and ideal climate. Although medium-scale, they pour love and care into each coffee cherry, adhering to selective traditional processing methods. We deliver a meticulously crafted cup from a vast farm where 1.5 million trees grow.
The Origin of Café Constantino
The founder, Constantino, was a man full of love and humor. His goal was simple: to create a vast coffee plantation. The first step towards that dream began in 1986, near the old Ipoméia train station along the railway in São Sebastião do Paraíso, Minas Gerais, with just 10,000 seedlings. Today, that passion has spread to a vast 517-hectare land, growing into a farm where approximately 1.5 million coffee trees bear abundant fruit.
The Alta Mogiana region, located on the border of Minas Gerais and São Paulo states, is a renowned coffee producing area that has supported Brazil's coffee history for over 150 years. This area, spread across a plateau at altitudes of 800-1,200m, is known as the source of some of the world's finest Arabica varieties, characterized by a balanced body and acidity, and a caramel-like sweet aroma. At Fazenda Ipoméia, situated at an altitude of 1,100m, the tradition of producing the finest cup is maintained through an ideal climate and rich soil, and the skilled techniques of producers who possess a deep knowledge of specialty coffee.
